ITC Tutor

WANTED: A HARDWORKING AND DEPENDABLE TUTOR TO WORK IN THE INSTITUTE OF TEXAN CULTURES MATHEMATICS LAB

Are you a responsible person who enjoys interacting with people of all ages and backgrounds? Do you enjoy teaching mathematics and want to share this joy with others? If so, please consider being a tutor in the San Antonio Virtual and Interactive Geometry lab located within the Institute of Texan Cultures (ITC). The position offers 19 hours of paid work per week which is flexible with your schedule – you are limited to when the museum is open, so weekend work is possible and sometimes required. Additionally, you will work one Sunday per month during pre-scheduled family days at the museum.

This position offers you the opportunity to interact with a diverse population from San Antonio and around the world, sometimes teaching pre-constructed mathematics lessons and sometimes simply reorganizing and reordering materials. Transportation to and from the ITC is the responsibility of the tutor. To apply, please fill out the application and deliver it to the Mathematics Main Office in FLN 4.01.10.
